DBSA of Greater St. Louis Support Groups and Other Meetings
Currently DBSA St. Louis operates about 30 support groups a month, at a variety of community locations, for people whose lives are affected by mental illness. Most of our meetings are open are open to both consumers and their friends and families. Some of our groups have a special focus and are open to targeted group. For more information about our groups call 314-652-6100 and ask for Rosa, Kevin, Sarah or Helen. If you would like a package of information about DBSA please call the office and one will be sent to you.
Weekly Meetings
Day: Tuesday
Time: 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
DBSA Open Meeting: St. Anthony's Medical Center: 10020 Kennerly Rd., St. Louis, MO 63126. This meeting meets the Anthony House Auditorium. To get to the Anthony House, turn left off of Kennerly Road onto the hospital campus, past the helicopter pad and emergency room, then immediately past "Building A" on the right, turn left into the parking lot in front of the brick Anthony House.

DBSA Young Adult Meeting (Ages 20-35): St. Mary's Medical Center, 6420 Clayton Rd. (Richmond Heights). Enter East Parking Garage at Demun off Clayton Rd. This meeting meets on the Ground Floor behind the cafeteria in Room C. This meeting meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. For more information call Tim Hamilton at 353-4672

DBSA Open Meeting: St. John's Edgewood Center, 970 Executive Parkway, Creve Coeur, MO 63141. This meeting meets the 1st through the 4th Wednesday of each month.

DBSA Open Meeting: Christian Hospital Northeast, 1113 Dunn Rd., St. Louis, MO 63136. This meeting meets on the 2nd Floor in Room 2100. There is a consulting professional at this meeting on the second Thursday of each month.

DBSA Open Meeting: St. Anthony's Medical Center, Hyland Behavioral Health System, 10018 Kennerly Rd., St. Louis, MO 63128. This meeting meets in Building B in the Dinning Room.

Time: 7:00 pm
Dual Diagnosis Meeting: For those in recovery from alcohol or substance abuse and mental illness. Jewish Hospital, 216 S. Kingshighway, St. Louis, MO 63108. This meeting meets in the Stix, Baer, and Fuller Room. This is an AA Meeting that is "DBSA Friendly"
Specialized Groups and Monthly Meetings
When: 2nd Thursday of Each Month
Time: 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Support Persons Meeting: For people whose friends or family members have a mood disorder. St. Paul's Lutheran Church (Fellowship Hall), 12345 Manchester Road at Ballas. Enter on Ballas side across from West County Westfield Shopping Center. Facilitators: Dolores Segal and Mary Hittler
When: 4th Monday of Each Month
Time: 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Youth with Bipolar or Depression (Ages 14-19): Kirkwood United Methodist Church, 201 W. Adams, Kirkwood (Corner of Clay and Adams, enter on Adams). This meeting also has a group for the parents of teens that meet simultaneously. Facilitators: Denise Hein and Joan Hereford

Couples Group: Des Peres Hospital, 2345 Doughtery Ferry Rd., St. Louis, MO 63122. This meeting meets in Conference Rooms 2 and 3.
